Pauline D. Deerhake, 84, of 17226 N. 130th Ave., in Sun City West, Ariz., died at 10:19 p.m. Thursday Nov. 22, 2012, in Sun City.
She was born Dec. 6, 1927, in Wapakoneta to parents Joseph and Daisy (Beeler) Howard.
She married Rueben Deerhake on May 10, 1947, and he survives at the residence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.
Pauline was a 1946 graduate of Blume High School in Wapakoneta.
She retired from the University of Rochester, where she had been the business manager of the Chemistry Department.
She was a member of the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville.
Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville, the Rev. Dr. David Williams, officiant.
Burial will follow at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral rites on Friday in the Heritage Room of the First United Church of Christ, where memorial gifts may be given to the church.
