Patricia Ann Voisard, 83

Patricia Ann Voisard, 83, of 740 N. Augustus St., St. Marys, died on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, at St. Ritas Medical Center, Lima, following an extended illness.

She was born on July 12, 1930, in St. Joseph, Mo., the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Hahn) Cianciolo.

She married Edward J. Voisard on May 3, 1952, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in St. Joseph, Mo., and he survives at the residence.

She is also survived by her six children, Vicki (Jim Garnett) Voisard of Harrodsburg, Ky.; Jim (Barb) Voisard of West Manchester; Deb (Pat) Denney of St. Marys; Tom (Kristi) Voisard of Faucett, Mo.; Bob (Karen) Voisard of Madeira; Dave (Sherrie) Voisard of St. Marys.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Margaret “Peggy” (Dale) King of St. Joseph, Mo.; by her 26 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pat attended the Convent of the Sacred Heart Academy in St. Joseph, Mo. She also attended Northwest Missouri College, and graduated from Wright State University in 1972. She taught school at Holy Rosary School in St. Marys for many years, was the Director of the St. Marys Day Care Center and Director of the Western Auglaize County  Red Cross.

She was a member of American Legion Post 323 Ladies Auxiliary; St. Marys Soroptimist Club; The Catholic Ladies of Columbia and the Progress Club.

In her spare time she enjoyed reading and knitting. She will be remembered as a very loving wife, mother and grandmother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte, officiant.

Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, where memorial gifts may be given to the Friends of Holy Rosary School.

Friends may also call one hour prior to the funeral mass on Wednesday at the funeral home.
