Patricia “Mama Bear” E. Deubler, 60

Patricia “Mama Bear” E. Deubler, 60, of 819 ½ Columbia St., St. Marys, died at 3:59 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, in the emergency department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.

She was born on April 20, 1951, in Middleville, Mich., to Leo and Beulah (Murray) Oliver, and they preceded her in death.

On June 17, 1972, in Lima, she married Richard E. Deubler II, and he survives her.

She is also survived by a daughter, Ann Marie (William) Vorhees of Columbus Grove; two sons, Richard (Jodi) Deubler IV of Lima and Andrew Mortagne of Centralia, W.Va.; nine grandchildren, Vincent Vorhees, William Vorhees, Madison Vorhees, Gavin Vorhees, McKenna Vorhees, Marek Vorhees, Anthony Vorhees, Richard Deubler V and Peyton Deubler; one great-grandchild, Cali Vorhees; two brothers, Robert (Bonita) Oliver of Live Oak, Fla., and Mike Oliver of Muskogee, Okla.; four sisters, Linda (Tom) Wrighton of Rockford, Ill., Dinah Bieszka of Grand Rapids, Mich., Barb (Mike) Faustrum of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Joan (Don) Latrielle of Live Oak, Fla.

 She was preceded in death by an infant son, Richard Deubler III; a brother, Jim Oliver.

She was a graduate of Thornapple-Kellogg High School in Middleville, Mich. A homemaker beyond compare, she devoted her life to caring for her family. Her favorite pastimes included  riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles with her husband.

Rites are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel), St. Marys, with the Rev. Bill Drummond officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from noon until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
