Nina J. Fetters, 84

Nina J. Fetters, 84, of 804 W. Jackson St. in St. Marys, died at 3:22 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

She was born on Aug. 29, 1928, in Adams County, Ind., to Charles W. and Nora (Machlin) Armantrout.

 On Feb. 22, 1947, she married Chancy L. Fetters, who died on Sept. 30, 1963.

Survivors include a daughter, Nina Kay (Stanley) Gerlach  of Miamisburg; a son, Alan Fetters  of Columbus; two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents Charles and Nora Armantrout; husband Chancy Fetters; son Gary Fetters; daughter Sandra Fetters, sisters Leota Brown, Beulah Morgan and Wilma Armantrout; brother Ruell Armantrout.

She retired from JTDM Hospital in St. Marys, where she worked as a certified nursing assistant.

Her favorite pastimes included attending estate auctions, collecting antiques and growing flowers and vegetables in her garden.

Rites are scheduled to begin at noon Wednesday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 W. High St. Chapel, in St. Marys.

Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
