Neal Robert Heyman, 48

Neal Robert Heyman, 48, of Fenton, Mich., died on Saturday, July 16, 2011, at his residence, following a nine year battle with cancer.

Neal was born on Oct. 27, 1962, in Mequon, Wis., the son of Robert and Elnamae (Roeseler) Heyman, and his mother survives him. His father preceded him in death.

On Oct. 21, 2000, he married Lori Kittel, formerly of New Bremen, and she survives him.

He is also survived by a sister, Denise (Keith) Van Engel of Cedarburg, Wis.; two brothers, Craig Heyman of Cedarburg, Wis., and Michael (Cindy) Heyman of Germantown, Wis.; a niece, Nicole Heyman; three nephews, Ryan (Sable) Van Engel, Jason Van Engel and Mike Heyman.

He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Alice Kittel; father-in-law, Richard Kittel.

He was a 1981 graduate of Homestead High School in Mequon, Wis. He attended Milwaukee School of Engineering in Milwaukee, Wis., and graduated from the University Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1991, earning a degree in metallurgical materials Engineering. Neal worked for Delphi Automotive and most recently for General Motors. He was a member of Fenton United Methodist Church.  

Services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, Mich., with the Rev. Jeremy Peters officiating. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
