Nancy Louise Horner, 73

Nancy Louise Horner, 73, formerly of St. Marys, died at 11:15 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at Van Wert Manor in Van Wert.

She was born on Feb. 11, 1939, in Salem Township, the daughter of Raymond S. and Viola N. (Shaner) Ginter, and they preceded her in death.

She is survived by three sons, Aaron Horner of St. Marys, Alan (Ann) Horner of St. Marys and Andrew Horner of St. Marys; a daughter, Ann Wilker of Van Wert; seven grandchildren; a sister, Audrey Schwartz of Wapakoneta.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Ginter.

She was a 1957 graduate of Spencerville High School and had obtained her LPN license.

She had been employed as an LPN at The Valley Nursing Home as well as Joint Township District Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Women’s Garden Club.

Services for Mrs. Horner will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Miller – Long & Folk Funeral Home, 314 W. High St., St. Marys, with the Rev. Bill Maki officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton.

Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour before the funeral, starting at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
