Nancy A. Koeper, 68, of 800 Bryarly Circle, St. Marys, died at 10:57 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2014, at Lima Memorial Hospital, following a short illness.
She was born on Aug. 5, 1945, in Lima, the daughter of Melvin and Mildred (Thuman) Luedeke.
She married Kenneth Koeper on Sept. 21, 1963, at Saint Paul’s United Church of Christ in New Bremen.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Koeper, by her daughter, Kimberly (Dale) Miller of St. Marys, by a sister, Connie Frey of Celina and a brother, Thomas Luedeke of St. Marys.
She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Nancy was employed at Crown Equipment Corporation in New Bremen, and she had previously worked at Barnhart and Bricker in St. Marys.
She was a member of Saint Paul’s United Church of Christ in St. Marys. She loved being with her family and was a huge fan of auto racing.
Funeral rites will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, the Rev. Dr. Ed Bray, officiant.
Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to either Hospice of Putnam County or Saint Paul’s United Church of Christ in St. Marys.
