Mina M. Froese, 96

Mina M. Froese, 96, formerly of Coldwater and a resident of Otterbein—St. Marys, died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Otterbein—St. Marys.  

She was born on March 21, 1918, in Long Island, N.Y.  

She was the daughter of Arthur and Maria (Belec) Griffin.  

On March 21, 1943, she married Ralph W. Froese, who preceded her in death.  Survivors include her son, Robert (Leonore Hildebrandt) Froese of Harrington, Maine; her daughter, Eileen (Paul) Froehlich of Ayer, Mass.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and her sister, Barbara Hornung, of Floral Park, N.Y.  Preceding her in death were her siblings, Laura Stelz, Gordon Griffin and Bill Griffin.

Mrs. Froese was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen.  She was a homemaker.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. today at the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen, the Rev. Thomas Mannebach officiating.  

Burial will follow in the St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.  

The family received friends one hour prior to the services today at the church.  

The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to Toys for Tots.
