Mildred M. Wolfal, 90

Mildred M. Wolfal, 90, formerly of St. Marys, died on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at Santa Rita Nursing Center in Green Valley, Ariz.

She was born on April 21, 1921, in Spencerville, to Ralph and Amy (Snyder) Clark, and they preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, Richard (Mary Ann) Jones of Dumas, Ark.; a daughter Susan Beahrs of Sahuarita, Ariz., 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth (Lowell) Miller of Spencerville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Wolfal; a daughter, Barbara Jean Koch.

She was a homemaker and been employed with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in St. Marys.

She was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9289 auxiliary and a former member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, both in St. Marys.

Her favorite pastimes included crocheting and knitting.

Rites are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Miller – Long & Folk Funeral Home, 314 W. High St., St. Marys, with the Rev. Ed Bray officiating.

Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.

Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
