Michael Fishbaugh, 63

Michael Fishbaugh, 63, died at 10:20 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at his residence in Celina, of natural causes.

He was born on Sept. 14, 1950, in Celina, to parents Eathan (Pearl)Fishbaugh and Betty Jane Sweigart, both of whom preceded him in death.

He married Brenda Fry on Dec. 7, 1968, and she survives in Celina.

He is also survived by a son, Dr. Mike (Pam) Fishbaugh of St. Henry, two daughters, Anessa (Troy) Stewert of Genoa and Michele (Josh) Bowman of Troy, two brothers, Eddie Wayne and Doris Fishbaugh of Celina and James (Debra) Fishbaugh of Celina and 10 grandchildren, Zachary, McKenzie and Jaren Fishbaugh, Alayna, Jacob and Colten Stewert and Addelynn, Myla and Garden Bowman.

Mike enjoyed gardening with his grandkids, raising big pumpkins. He enjoyed fishing, farming, traveling and gambling. He enjoyed bowling with his team in St. Marys.

He helped family and friends with many construction jobs. He loved helping the community by working at Paysen Electric. When able, he enjoyed playing Santa Clause.

He retired from Paysen Electric in Celina. He was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church.

Michael was a 1969 graduate of Celina High and was a member of the St. Marys Eagles.

Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, the Rev. Jimmy Sweigart officiating.

Burial will take place at Swamp College Cemetery.

Calling hours will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour before the services Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Hospice.
