Mary A. Kriegel, 90

Mary A. Kriegel, 90, of Celina, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at the Gardens at Celina.

She was born on Feb. 16, 1923, in Trinity, Ind., the daughter of Henry and Frances (Hess) Muhlenkamp.

She married Howard F. Wagner on Jan. 26, 1944, and he preceded her in death on April 24, 1965.

On Oct. 31, 1969, she married Edward J. Kriegel,  and he also preceded her in death on April 8, 2010.

Surviving are two sons, James (Susan) Wagner and David (Diane) Wagner, both of Celina; two daughters, Betty (Mike) Heckler of Coldwater and  Nancy (Joseph)  Nerderman of Albuquerque, N.M.; a daughter-in-law, Marg Wagner of Celina; and four stepchildren, John (Betty) Kriegel of Troy, Mich.; Charles (Linda) Kriegel of West Carrollton, Charlene Harner (Greg Cartter) of Kirbyville, Mo.; and William (Bea) Kriegel of Celina;  and 27 grandchildren; 52  great-grandchildren;  three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Wagner; 11 brothers and sisters; and a grandson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church in Celina, the Rev. Ken Alt, C.PP.S. officiant.

Burial will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina.

Calling hours will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and  from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at  W.H. Dick and Sons-Hellwarth  Funeral Home in Celina.

Memorial contributions may be made to the  Immaculate Conception Endowment Fund.
