Mary Ann Grevenkamp, 53

Mary Ann Grevenkamp, 53, of New Bremen, died at 6:59 a.m. Thursday, May 23, 2013, at the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.

She was born on Nov., 13, 1959, in Coldwater.  

She was the daughter of Cletus and Marcella (Stucke) Heitkamp.  

Her mother survives in Celina.  

On Oct. 22, 1983, she married Gerald “Jed” Grevenkamp and he survives near New Bremen.  

Also surviving are her children, Ryan (Ashley) Grevenkamp of New Bremen, Amy (Doug Bruns) Grevenkamp of Fort Loramie and Beth Grevenkamp of New Bremen, grandsons Levi Grevenkamp and Brad Bruns and her siblings Arleen Heitkamp of Sidney, Diane Hamilton of Springfield, James (Kathy) Heitkamp of Houston, Mark (Joann) Heitkamp of New Bremen and Linda Giessler of Van Wert.  

Her father preceded her in death.

Ms. Grevenkamp was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen.  She was a 1978 graduate of Marion Local High School and had attended the Wright State University – Lake Campus.  She was a resident assistant at Elmwood of New Bremen.

She enjoyed spending time with her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Holy Redeemer New Bremen, the Rev. Thomas Mannebach, officiating.  

Burial will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.  

Calling hours will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.  

The Rosary will be prayed starting at 10 a.m. at the church.  

Memorial contributions may be made to the New Bremen Emergency Squad.  Condolences to the family may be left at GilbergHartwigFh.com.
