Marjorie Fogt Smallwood, 82

Marjorie Maxine (Fogt) Smallwood, 82, of Wapakoneta, died at 9:10 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2012, at her residence.

She was born on April 7, 1929, in St. Marys, the daughter of Clarence and Eva (Phillips) Fogt, who preceded her in death. On Oct. 10, 1948, she married Ray M. Smallwood, and he survives.

She is also survived by two daughters, Barbara Ann (Michael A.) Selby of Moulton and Betty June Smallwood of Ludlow Falls; four grandsons; six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Bayliff and Eley Funeral Home, State Route 501, Wapakoneta, with the Rev. Greg Roberts officiating. Burial is to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Auglaize County Humane Society. Condolences may be expressed at www.bayliffandeleyfh.com.
