Mabel L. Williams, 92

Mabel L. Williams, 92, of 125 S. Lake St., Celina, died at 10:55 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

She was born on Sept. 20, 1919, in Piqua, to Charles and Mary (Murphy) Chaney, and they preceded her in death.

On Oct. 22, 1938, she married Lewis Williams, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 30, 1987.

She is survived by two sons, Mike (Nancy) Williams of New Bremen and Pat  (Mary) Williams of St. Marys; three daughters, Sonnie (the Rev. Gerald) Gallaway of Delton, Mich., Sharon (Mike) McKirnan of Celina and Susan (Robert) Sullivan of St. Marys; 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers; a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with the Rev. Gerald Gallaway officiating.

Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
