Loutisha L. Francis, 44

Loutisha L. Francis, 44, of 14075 Glynwood-New Knoxville Road, St. Marys, died on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at the Cleveland Clinic following an extended illness.

She was born on Nov. 18, 1967, in Welch, W.Va., the daughter of John and Eunice (Flanagan) Coldiron, and her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives her in St. Marys.

On Aug. 15, 1987, she married Donald D. Francis, and he survives at the residence.

She is also survived by her two children, DJ (Amanda) Francis of St. Marys and Spencer (and fiancee Janelle Waymire) Francis of St. Marys; her siblings, Kim Coldiron of St. Marys, John Coldiron of Mexico, Mary (Kirby) Lambert of Princeton, W.Va., and Samantha (Rob) Clark of Princeton, W.Va.; her in-laws, Don (Wanda) Francis of St. Marys; a niece with whom she was very close, Amanda Lininger of St. Marys; two great-nieces, Brianna Ellis and Dani Lininger; her beloved dog, Duchess.

Loutisha was a 1987 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School and a graduate of the Ohio State Beauty Academy. She had previously been employed as a hairdresser at Famous Hair in St. Marys.

She attended Garden of Love Old Regular Baptist Church in St. Marys. She will be remembered as a very devoted wife and mother. She was very proud of her family and always thought of others’ needs before her own.

Funeral rites will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, with the Rev. Tim Smith and the Rev. Gary Mosley officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to the Garden of Love Old Regular Baptist Church.
