Lois J. Ruck, 77

 Lois J. Ruck, 77, of 17353 Maier-Barber Road in St. Marys, died at 8:43 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice.

She was born on Aug. 26, 1936, in Waterville, N.Y. to Albert and Florabell (Carpenter) Tarbox.

On Dec. 22, 1957, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Defiance, she married James R. Ruck, who survives.

She is also survived by a son, Eric (Sue) Ruck  of Fredricksburg, Va.; a daughter, Lisa Benoit of St. Marys; five grandchildren, Christopher Benoit; Jimmy Benoit; Brittany Ruck; Josh Ruck; Zachary Ruck; four great-grandchildren, Wyatt Benoit; Logan Benoit; Lily Benoit and Riley Benoit; a         sister, Lorraine Frank  of Huber Heights.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Florabell Tarbox, three brothers, Leroy Tarbox, Albert Tarbox Jr. and Reginald Tarbox and a sister, Helen Powell.

She was a 1955 graduate of Waterville, N.Y. High School.

Lois served her country in the U.S. Air Force.

She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Moulton. Her favorite pastimes included fishing, golfing and keeping in touch with her friends throughout the world via social media sites on her computer.

Services are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, the Rev. Joy Miller officiating.

Private family burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta.

Visitation will take place one hour prior to services at the church.
