Lester L. Johnson, 76

Lester L. Johnson, 76, of 220 Lincoln Drive, Celina, died at 9:44 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

He was born on March 29, 1935, in Mercer County, to Albert W. and Mary Lavaun (Kendall) Johnson, and they preceded him in death.

On July 8, 1963, he married Jeanie Ousley, and she survives in Celina.

He is also survived by his daughter, Candy (Tom) Wale of Celina; a granddaughter.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean War in Germany.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with the Rev. Randy Christian officiating. Burial will be held in Swamp College Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and one hour before services on Monday at the funeral home.
