Kathryn J. Klaus, 81

Kathryn J. Klaus, 81, of Spencerville, formerly of Venedocia, died at 9:05 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.

She was born on Aug. 5, 1930, in Dayton, to Charles and Margaret Dyke Mullen, and they preceded her in death.

On Nov. 27, 1952, she married Joseph G. Klaus, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 1999.

She is survived by three daughters, Debbie (Kenny) Armstrong of Spencerville, Barbara (Bob) Delgado of Ohio City and Colleen Klaus of Spencerville; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, with the Rev. David Howell and the Rev. Jan Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow in Gethsemani Cemetery in Lima.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or to the Spencerville EMS.
