John W. Robbins, 69, of Celina, died on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
He was born on April 13, 1942, to Roy A. and Opal G. (Monroe) Robbins, and they preceded him in death.
On May 7, 1977, he married Naomi Hover, and she preceded him in death on July 14, 2009.
He is survived by a son, Dwayne (Kimberly) Beal of Germantown; a brother; a sister; a brother-in-law; a sister-in-law; five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Beal.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in rural Rockford, with the Rev. Catherine Costello officiating. Burial will be held in St. Paul’s United Church of Christ Cemetery.
