Jeanne E. Dunlap, 83, of 427 Taffy Court in Union City, died at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at Union City Care Center.
She was born on Aug. 24, 1929, in St. Marys to Otto E. and Frances Geraldine (Mooney) Schrolucke.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Lee of Union City, Ind., Debra Neargarder of Union City, Traci (Chris) Wells of Delphos; a son, Jerry (Teresa) Dunlap of Union City, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Martha (Robert) Hardin of Moulton; brother Otto (Sharon) Schrolucke of St. Marys.
She was preceded in death by parents Otto and Frances Schrolucke; husband Charles A. D. Dunlap; son Kip Allen Dunlap; granddaughter Jami Copeland, brother Thomas Schrolucke.
She attended St. Marys Memorial High School. A homemaker, she had also been employed at DWG Cigar Factory, St. Marys Cotton Mill and Goodyear Tire Co., all in St. Marys.
She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ and Kishler Women’s Relief Corps, all in St. Marys.
Her favorite pastimes included watching classic movies and spending time with her family.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Miller – Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 W. High St. in St. Marys, the Rev. Dr. Ed Bray, officiating.
Burial will follow at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery in New Knoxville.
