Jean Keysor, 85, of 514 N. Front St., St. Marys, died at 10:03 a.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014, at Vancrest of St. Marys Nursing Home.
She was born on Friday, Jan. 11, 1929, in St. Marys, the daughter of Floyd and Blanche (Wurster) Chilcoat.
She married Virgil “Jack” Keysor on Aug. 3, 1945, and he preceded her in death in February 2005.
She is survived by her two daughters, Judy (Randy) Myers of St. Marys and Linda (Brad Norton) Cramer of St. Marys, by her nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Sonya (Robert) O’Neal of Wapakoneta.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by a sister, Laura Belle Ellis and by three children, Sharon Wells, Richard Keysor and Deb Hensley.
Jean was a homemaker and had been an Avon Sales Representative for many years. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in St. Marys. She had been a Girl Scout leader for numerous years and enjoyed gardening and going fishing. She dearly loved QVC.
Funeral rites will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, the Rev. Tim Smith, officiant.
Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to the First Church of the Nazarene.
