Jack Clinton Willeke, 40, of St. Marys, died on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at the Cleveland Clinic.

He was born on Feb. 29, 1972, in Bellefontaine, to Wayne E. Willeke and Lillian Mary (Thaxton) Willeke, and his father preceded him in death. His mother survives him in Bellefontaine.

On Dec. 30, 2000, in New Bremen, he married Kendra Grimm, and she survives.

He is also survived by two stepsons, Eric Enriquez and Danny Williams, both of St. Marys; a stepdaughter, Alyssa Williams of St. Marys; a brother; two grandchildren; two nieces; a nephew; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his stepgrandmother.

From 1995 to 1999, he served in the U.S. Navy on the John C. Stennis, CVN 74.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center, with the Rev. Eric Cook officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center, with military honors by the Logan County Veterans Honor Guard.

A visitation is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.    

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the family, c/o Eichholtz Funeral Home.
