Irma E. Oldiges, 96

Irma E. Oldiges, 96, of Minster, died at 4:23 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Heritage Manor Nursing Center. 

She was born on Oct. 11, 1915, in Russia, to Amedee and Clara (Couchot) Didier, and they preceded her in death.

On Sept. 2, 1939, in Russia, she married Louis F. Oldiges, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 2006. 

She is survived by her children, Elaine (James) Simons of Sidney, John Oldiges of Minster and Donna (John) Cornwell of Minster; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by  her sons, Timothy and Robert (Hop); a daughter-in-law; four sisters; three brothers. 

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, with the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating.

Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.

The family requests donations be made to The Alzheimer’s Association.
