GOLF ROUND-UP: New Knoxville's Shreve sets new school record with a 36

New Knoxville's Tyler Shreve shot a 36 to set a new school boys golf record for a nine-hole round on Thursday against St. Henry.

ST. HENRY 183, NEW KNOXVILLE 196: New Knoxville’s Tyler Shreve shot a school-record 36 in the Rangers’ 183-196 loss to St. Henry on Thursday at Arrowhead. Connor Samuel and Jake Allen added 53s for New KNoxville. Brian Kremer shot a 44 as low man for St. Henry. Alex Evers adde a 45 and Just Mescher and Troy Potkotter each had 47s. The Rangers are now 3-3 overall and 2-3 in the MAC.
 

MINSTER 158, NEW BREMEN 166: Minster’s Austin Brackman shot a two-over par 38 as medalist and the Wildcat boys golf team beat rival New Bremen, 158-166, at Arrowhead Golf Club on Thursday. New Bremen’s Darren Bergman was low man for New Bremen with a 39. Minster’s John Burke, Xavier Francis and Freddie Purdy each shot 40s. Josh Tumbusch had a 44 and Sam Schutte shot a 47. For New Bremen, Travis Bertelsen had a 41 while Alex Britton and Tyler Hagen each had 43s. Alex Feltz shot a 48 and Aaron Hegemier had a 50.

BATH 157, ST. MARYS 165: Bath edged the St. Marys boys golf team in a WBL match at Hawthorne Hills on Thursday, 157-165. St. Marys sophomore Carter Bowman earned medalist honors with a two-under par 34. Colin Burke shot a 40. Matt Severt carded a 47 and Kyle Kiefer had a 47.

GIRLS GOLF
MINSTER 203, NEW BREMEN 215
: Claire Fischer’s 43 led Minster to a 203-215 win over New Bremen at Arrowhead on Thursday. Along with Fischer, Marissa Conrad shot a 45 for the Wildcats. Abby Hausfeld added a 56 and Taylor Trego had a 59. New Bremen’s Mackenzie Howell shot a 48, Sydney Holdren had a 49, Rachel Parker shot a 56 and Sara LaFleur had a 62.
