GIRLS BASKETBALL: St. Henry stuns Cards with big 4th

ST. HENRY 44, NEW BREMEN 33

ST. HENRY — St. Henry rallied from a seven-point deficit at the beginning of the fourth quarter and outscored New Bremen 24-6 in the fourth to pull out a 44-33 win over New Bremen on Thursday night.

New Bremen led 27-20 after the Cardinals held St. Henry to just three points in the third quarter, but St. Henry’s depth showed in the final eight minutes.

Kelly Siefring helped lead the rally, scoring a team-high 11 points. Sarah Moeder added 10 points. Taylor Clune scored nine points for the Redskins.

Julie Brown scored 12 points for New Bremen, which slipped to 5-8, 0-5 in the MAC. Haley Moeller added nine points.
