GIRLS BASKETBALL: New Knoxville rolls to 10th win

NEW KNOXVILLE 67, PARKWAY 20

NEW KNOXVILLE — The New Knoxville girls basketball team roared to a 67-20 win over the Parkway Panthers on Thursday night at The Barn.

Tiana Heidt led a quartet of Rangers in double figures with 22 points. Haley Horstman added 14 points while Haley Dillon and Paige Lehman scored 11 points apiece.

Parkway’s Becca Harshman led the Panthers with six points.

New Knoxville improved to 10-2 and 5-1 in the Midwest Athletic Conference, and Tim Hegemier’s Rangers won their fifth straight game.

Parkway dropped to 5-8. The Panthers are 5-3 in games outside the MAC and 0-5 in conference play.

New Knoxville travels to Jackson Center on Saturday at 1 p.m. and then hosts St. Marys next Tuesday night at 6 p.m.
