Girls Basketball: Bath rolls past Roughriders
BATH TOWNSHIP — The Bath girls basketball team appeared plenty motivated after suffering a 19-point loss at Ottoville on Saturday.
The Wildkittens made half their shots, Alyssa Manley scored a game-high 19 points and Bath rolled to a 69-21 win over St. Marys on Thursday night.

Bath roared out to a 14-0 lead to start the game and never let up.
Manley knocked down 3-of-4 from 3-point range, and Bath hit eight treys on the night. The Wildkittens shot 28-of-55 from the floor (50.1 percent).
Emily Ruhe, who is still working her way back from injury and coming off the bench after being a key contributor to Bath’s team over the past few seasons, scored 11 points off the bench.
Bath’s full-court pressure yielded 30 Roughrider turnovers.
The Wildkittens kept pace atop the WBL. The Wildkittens moved to 4-0 in the league and 9-4 overall. Bath and Shawnee remain the only unbeatens in the WBL.
Molly Albert and Erika Angstmann each scored four points to lead the Roughriders. Albert left the game with an injury in the first half and did not return to the game.
St. Marys falls to 2-9 on the season and 1-3 in the Western Buckeye League. The Roughriders will look to end a four-game skid at New Bremen on Saturday at 1 p.m.
St. Marys shot 31 percent from the floor on 9-of-29 shooting.
The Bath junior varsity team defeated the Riders, 66-21.
