Garrett Rhodes, 21

Garrett Rhodes, 21, of 09560 Auglaize Co. 33-A, Wapakoneta, died on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, at the scene of a single vehicle crash in rural Auglaize County.

He was born on Aug. 8, 1990, in St. Marys, to Donny L. Rhodes and Samantha Clouser. His father survives him in Wapakoneta, and his mother and stepfather, Jeff, survive him in St. Marys.

He is also survived by seven siblings, Josh (Amanda) Rhodes of St. Marys, Isaac Rhodes of St. Marys, Donna (Chad) Pequignot of Middletown, David Rhodes of St. Marys, Hunter Clouser of St. Marys, Elayna Clouser of St. Marys and Parker Clouser of St. Marys; his paternal grandparents, Matt (Alma) Rhodes of St. Marys; his  maternal grandfather, Richard Klinger of St. Marys; his stepgrandparents, Paul (Bonnie) Clouser of St. Marys; six nieces and nephews,  Oliver Rhodes, Diegan Rhodes, Giuliana Pequignot, Navayeh Rhodes, McKenzie Miller and Ashton Miller; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was a 2009 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School and was employed as a general laborer for Bowman Construction Co. in St. Marys.

Garrett liked automobiles (especially Chevy Camaros), listening to music and the fine arts.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel), St. Marys. Private family burial will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
