Frederick “Fred” A. Schulze, 63

Frederick “Fred” A. Schulze, 63, of S. Main St., Minster, died on Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.

He was born on Nov. 16, 1948, in Fort Loramie, to Frederick and Mary (Streacker) Schulze, and they preceded him in death.

On Sept. 25, 1971, at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Maria Stein, he married Karen (Bertke) Schulze, and she survives.

He is also survived by a son, Carl (Kathy) Schulze of Coldwater; a daughter-in-law; five grandchildren; seven siblings; a brother-in-law; his mother-in-law; 11 brothers and sisters-in-law.

He was preceded in death by a son, David Schulze; a sister; two sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Augustine Church in Minster, with the Rev. Rick Nieberding presiding. Interment will follow at Precious Blood Cemetery in Chickasaw.

Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Friday at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie.

Memorials may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
