Frances C. Keysor, 93, formerly of 17674 Moulton-Fort Amanda Road, Wapakoneta, died on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, at Auglaize Acres Nursing Home.
She was born on March 9, 1918, in Plymouth, Mich., to Daniel and Mary (Knuth) Miller, and they preceded her in death.
She is survived by six daughters, Betty (Keith) Ferrand of St. Marys, Eileen (Wayne) Schultz of Wapakoneta, Kathy (Arlen “Jake”) Fry of St. Marys, Susan (Charles) Meier of Wapakoneta, Becky (Matt) Maxson of Wapakoneta, Laura (Mark) Greenbaum of St. Marys; a son, Ted Keysor of Spencerville; 28 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Henry (Mary Catherine) Miller of Wapakoneta; a sister, Patricia Hull of Wapakoneta.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Delmar Keysor; a daughter, Donna Holtzapple; two grandsons, Sam Link and John Keysor; eight brothers, Theodore Miller, Bill Miller, Vincent Miller, Eugene Miller, Desmond Miller, Gerald Miller, Daniel Miller and Ronald Miller; a sister, Mary Jacqueline Jones.
She was a homemaker and operated the family farm with her husband for many years.
She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Glynnwood.
Her favorite pastime was playing cards, especially the games of bridge and pinochle.
A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. Oscar Seger officiating. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery in Glynnwood.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel), St. Marys.
