Floyd Wayne Highley, 92

Floyd Wayne Highley, 92, of 9258 Hoenie Rd. in Celina, passed away at 3:10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford.

He was born on Aug. 27, 1920, in Celina to Simmeon and Pearl (Cook) Highley, who preceded him in death.

On Feb. 23, 1946, he married Margaret (Kuhn), who lives in Celina. Also surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Kim HIghley of Celina, Doug and Becci Highley of Celina; one daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Bud Schoenleben of Celina; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Carl (Freda) Highley and Kenneth Highley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday  at the St. Teresa Catholic Church in Rockford, with Fr. Kenneth Schnipke C.PP.S. officiating.

Burial will follow in Friends Cemetery in Rockford.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
