Fire Kills 1 In Celina

CELINA — The state fire marshal’s office is investigating a fatal fire that claimed the life of a Celina resident Tuesday night.

At 7:52 p.m., the Celina Fire Department received a phone call from Mercer County Central Dispatch reporting a trailer fire at 3696 Bunker Hill Road, Celina. The initial report from a neighbor indicated a resident may have been inside the trailer at the time of the blaze. No other details were released regarding the cause of the fire.

The state fire marshal’s office arrived on the scene shortly after the fire and has taken over the investigation. The name of the person who died in the fire is being withheld at this time.
