Evelyn C. Eiting, 84, formerly of Eiting Road, Minster, a resident of Otterbein-St. Marys, died at 2 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Otterbein-St. Marys.
She was born on Dec. 1, 1927, in Maria Stein, to William and Mary (Buening) Overman, and they preceded her in death.
On March 3, 1962, she married Wilmer “Bud” Eiting, and he preceded her in death on April 11, 1973.
She is survived by her daughter Elaine (Eric) Roemer of Ancona, Ill.; two grandchildren; a sister; two sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law.
She was preceded in death by five siblings.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, with the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial will take place in St. Augustine Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Saturday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
