5:10 p.m. — Multiple national media outlets are reporting voters in New Jersey will be given an extension to submit e-mail ballots until Friday because of the widespread damage from Superstorm Sandy.
7:10 p.m. — CNN is reporting Mitt Romney has won Kentucky, Barack Obama has won Vermont.
7:30 p.m. — Polls have closed in Ohio, North Carolina and West Virginia.
7:32 p.m. — CBS is reporting Romney has won West Virginia.
7:33 p.m. — National media is calling Georgia, South Carolina and Indiana for Romney.
8:02 p.m. — ABC projects Obama will win Massachusetts, Illinois, Maryland, Rhode Island, Delaware, Connecticut and District of Columbia.
CBS is projecting Romney will take Alabama, Oklahoma and Tennessee.
8:38 p.m. — National media is calling Arkansas for Romney.
9:05 p.m. — CNN is projecting Obama will take New Jersey, New York and Michigan.
9:07 p.m. — CNN is projecting Republicans will keep control of the House of Representatives.
