Eileen S. Bubp, 74, of Albuquerque, N.M., died on Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, at Canyon Rehabilitation Center in Albuquerque, N.M., after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
She was born on Feb. 5, 1938, in Celina, to Albert and Marcella Clausing of St. Marys, and they preceded her in death.
On March 15, 1958, she married Gene Bubp, and he survives at their residence.
She is also survived by two sons, Douglas (Laura) of Las Cruces and Dana (Ginny) of Las Vegas; a daughter, Kendra (Craig) Stoma of Albuquerque, N.M.; four grandchildren; a brother, Dean Clausing of Upper Sandusky; two sisters-in-law, Carol (Norval) Kohlhorst of Maumee and Paula Fledderjohann of St. Marys; a niece, several nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Brenda Lynn.
She was a graduate of New Knoxville High School in 1956 and the Lima School of Business. She worked many years as an office manager in Albuquerque, N.M.
Eileen had a strong faith, and her passions were gospel music, butterflies, sewing and cake decorating.
A memorial service in Albuquerque will be held on Saturday at the Riverside Funeral Home, with a graveside service at a later date in New Knoxville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
