Edward D. Cisco, 63, of Celina, died at 3:58 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2012, at his residence.
He was born on June 11, 1949, in Celina, to James Cisco and Dorothy Zeck, and they preceded him in death.
On Nov. 17, 1989, he married Karen Evans, and she survives him in Celina.
He is also survived by a son, Keith Lyme of Celina; four daughters, Michelle (Tony) Arnett of Bradford, Shannon (Wayne) Cooper of Celina, Michelle (Matt) Collett of Piqua and Melissa Cisco of Piqua; two sisters, Candace (Gerald) Ward of Celina and Susan (Reid) Niemeyer of New Knoxville; 12 grandchildren.
He was a 1967 graduate of Celina High School. He retired from Ford Motor Co. in Lima and was also a retired center township farmer. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. His memberships included the Celina Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge, and he was a member of the Mercer County Soil and Water Conservation Board.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Vietnam era.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church in Celina, with the Rev. Jeff Gramza and the Rev. Douglas Meyer officiating. Burial will be held in Resthaven Memory Gardens in St. Marys.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
