Douglas E. Weaver, 57, of 15784 Koenig Road, St. Marys, died on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011, at University Hospital in Cincinnati.

He was born on May 28, 1954, in Coldwater, to Elmer and Mary Jane (Monnier) Weaver, and they survive him in Minster.

On Jan. 13, 1979, in St. Marys, he married Donna Jean Wogaman, and she survives.

He is also survived by a daughter, Cindy (Steve) Jones of Sidney; three sons, Mark (Chris) Sharp of New Bremen, Mike (Jodi Kline) Weaver of Spencerville and Keith (Cyril Puthoff) Weaver of Cincinnati; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren (another is due any day); a brother, Brad (Lisa) Weaver of Dayton; his parents-in-law, Paul and Glenna Wogaman of Houston; a sister-in-law, Darlene (Dave) Mummey  of Houston; a brother-in-law, Larry (Terri) Wogaman of Houston.

He was preceded in death by a  brother, Jeff Weaver

He was a 1972 graduate of Minster High School and also attended Edison State Community College in Piqua.

He was employed by the Minster Machine Company as a technical support specialist. He attended Calvary Christian Fellowship in St. Marys. His favorite pastime included amateur radio operation (call sign “KD8KX”).

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Miller – Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 W. High St., St. Marys, with the Rev. Jim Sweigart officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed via Millerfuneralhomes.net.
