Dorothy Lynn Dorsett, 54, of Wapakoneta, died at 1:49 a.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at her residence.

She was born on Oct. 23, 1958, in Lima, the daughter of Robert E. and Betty L. (Vondenhuevel) Hague, who survive in Wapakoneta.

Other survivors include a sister, Carol (Rich) Dorsett, Wapakoneta; a former husband, Harold Dorsett II; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Hague and a brother, Donald Hague.

Dorothy worked as a nurses aid for 24 years at Heartland of Indian Lake. She was a member of the First English Lutheran Church, Wapakoneta and a 1977 graduate of Wapakoneta High School. She enjoyed crocheting, needle work, and playing cards.

Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Bayliff and Eley Funeral Home, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, the Rev. Steven Nelson, officiating.  

Burial of the cremated remains will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta.  

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
