Donald L. Brunswick, 85

Donald L. Brunswick, 85, of Egypt, died at 12:45 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at Wilson Memorial Hospital. 

He was born on June 25, 1928, in Chickasaw, to the late Ferdinand and Francis (Heitbrink) Brunswick. 

He is survived by sisters Norma and Elmer Meyer of Anna and Iona Gariety of Versailles; brother Dr. Mark Brunswick of Wilton Manors, Fla.; sister-in-law Mary Catherine Brunswick of Egypt; nieces and nephews Donna Huelskamp, Carol Steinke, Bill Brunswick, LaVern Brunswick, Jerry Meyer, Lois Bertke, Margie Buleson, Russel Meyer, Dean Meyer, Diane Siegrist, Dennis Gariety and Darlene Monnin and numerous great nieces and nephews.  

He was preceded in death by brother Constant (Conny) Brunswick, sister Alice Ann Brunswick, brother-in-law Paul Gariety, nephew Dale Gariety and niece Doris Gariety.

He was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Egypt and a veteran of the U.S. Army.  

A funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, in Minster.  

Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery in Egypt.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
