Deborah S. Yahn, 58, of St. Marys, died on Sunday, April 8, 2012, at Golden Living Center – Valley in St. Marys.

She was born on Aug. 30, 1953, in Celina, to Harry “Red” and Evelyn (Francis) Yahn, and they preceded her in death and now are all together again.

She is survived by many friends and co-workers.

Deb graduated from St. Marys Memorial High School in 1971. She had been employed at the Golden Living Center – Valley Nursing Home in St. Marys for 37 years. She loved caring for the residents and showed her kindness to all through a smile, a soft touch or a kind word.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys.

Her favorite pastimes included reading, working crossword puzzles, crocheting and fishing. She also dearly loved the numerous pets she had in her lifetime.

Rites are scheduled for 4 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel), St. Marys, with Deacon Martin Brown officiating.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Auglaize County Dog House fund or to SART for cats.
