Debbie Sue Baker, 54, of Wapakoneta, died on Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 31, 2011, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
She was born on March 5, 1957, in Lima, the daughter of Roger and Carol (Verhoff) Baker. Her mother survives in Wapakoneta, and her father preceded her in death.
She is also survived by a special friend, Eddie Waddle of Wapakoneta; three sons, Ray (Christina) Fowler of Findlay, Nathan (Misty) Fowler of Winchester, Ind., and Anthony DuLaney of Sidney; four grandchildren, Kayla, Emily, Kya and Cayden Fowler; three siblings, Linda Steinke, Peggy (Scot) Gilbert and Dan (Beverly) Baker, all of Wapakoneta.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Summer Fowler.
Debbie had worked at Wapakoneta Products. She was a member of Only Believe Ministries in Botkins. Her life revolved around her family, especially her sons and grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Bayliff and Eley Funeral Home, State Route 501, Wapakoneta, with the Rev. Ed Ingram officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Wapakoneta.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and one hour before the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
