Dean J. Strawn, 66, of 1310 State Route 29, Celina, died at 5:40 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
He was born on Nov. 10, 1945, in Van Wert County, to Harley and Erma (Harp) Strawn, and they preceded him in death.
On April 23, 1993, he married Carel Snyder, and she survives in Celina.
He is also survived by a sister-in-law; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two bothers.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Ceilna, with the Rev. Randy Swanson officiating.
Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
