David T. Russell, 74, of Celina, died on Sunday, March 25, 2012, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born on April 25, 1937, in Providence, R.I., to Wilbur and Olive (Allen) Russell, and they preceded him in death.
On Nov. 14, 1959, he married Wava Lantz, and she survives in Celina.
He is also survived by three children, Michael David (Beth) Russell, Roberta “Bobbie” (Rick) Turner and Ronda (Ron) Helmer, all of Celina; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served in post-war Korea from 1954 to 1958.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at North Grove Cemetery in Celina, with the Rev. Randy Christian officiating. Military rites will be performed by the Coldwater Legion.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at the W.H. Dick & Sons - Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina.
