Cyrus “Jimmy” Frey, 55

Cyrus “Jimmy” Frey, 55, of St. Marys, was found dead on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, near Grand Lake St. Marys.

He was born on Jan. 26, 1956, in St. Marys, the son of John and Eleanor (Walker) Frey, and they preceded him in death.

He is survived by three sons, Dustin (Felissa Contreras) Frey of St. Marys, Jeremy Frey of St. Marys and Justin (Melissa Graves) Frey of St. Marys; his siblings, Mike (Deb) Frey of St. Marys, John (Barb) Frey Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jane (Ron) Paulus of Pasadena, Texas; two grandchildren, Kaleb and Emma.

Jimmy was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

He had previously worked at AAP Corp. in St. Marys and Plasti-Pak in Jackson Center. He enjoyed hunting for arrowheads and was an avid outdoorsman who especially loved fishing and trapping.

Funeral rites will be held at noon Wednesday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 W. High St., St. Marys. Military burial rites will be performed at Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
