Celina Man Arrested On Drug Charges

CELINA — A Mercer County man was arrested Tuesday on drug charges.

According to a news release issued by Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey, Jeremy D. Mott, 27, 410 W. Market St., Celina, was arrested on drug trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia charges during a traffic stop Tuesday. Officers allegedly witnessed a drug transaction involving Mott near a business on Grand Lake Road, near Havemann Road

Mott was driving of a 2001 Saturn, which was seized upon his arrest.  He was allegedly found in possession of heroin as well as a marijuana pipe. Deputies were assisted by the Celina Police Department as well as the Grand Lake Task Force. Mott was also the subject of several tips sent to the sheriff’s office regarding his alleged drug dealing on the sheriff’s website Grey encouraged residents to get involved and report drug issues.
