Carolyn E. Parmelee, 76

Carolyn E. Parmelee, 76, 316 Midlane Drive, New Bremen, passed away at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at the Pavilion in Sidney.  

She was born on Oct. 17, 1937, in Waynesville, the daughter of Carl and Esther (Kearns) Dakin and they are deceased.  

She was married to Thomas Clark in July 1958, and he passed away on Oct. 11, 2009.  She later married Richard Parmelee, and he preceded her in death.  

She is survived by a special friend, Carl Hoehne of New Bremen, three daughters, Velina Bogart of Sidney, Tana (Ted) Hutson of Sidney and Valerie Burks of Sidney, a son, Thomas Dale (Sarah) Clark of Troy, one brother, Dale (Joan) Dakin of Clarksville, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  

One brother, Edward Dakin, is deceased.  

Mrs. Parmelee had been a realtor for many years and retired from Wagner Realty in Sidney. She enjoyed playing cards. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Sidney.  

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home, the Rev. David Shepherd officiating.  

Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney.  

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.  

Memorial contributions may be made to Wilson Hospice, 915 W. Michigan St., Sidney, OH, 45365.  

Envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
