Carol J. Selhorst, 84, of 522 Western Ave., St. Henry, died at 11:35 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Gardens at St. Henry.

She was born on July 19, 1927, in North Star, to Leo Stammen and Zita (Grilliot), and they preceded her in death.

On Sept. 10, 1949, in North Star, she married Bernard Selhorst, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 7, 2002.

Carol is survived by her children, Ann (Ron) Fleckenstein of Fort Recovery, Marvin (Ann) Selhorst of Wapakoneta, Steve (Jane) Selhorst of North Star, Joe (Irene) Selhorst of North Star, Jerry (Amy) Bruggeman of Wellington, Fla., Theresa Selhorst of North Star, Luke (Carla) Selhorst of Kettering and Chris (Deborah) Selhorst of Waynesville; a daughter-in-law; two sisters; a sister-in-law; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Martin Selhorst; four siblings; her in-laws.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church in North Star, with the Rev. David Zink officiating. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery in Montezuma.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater.

Memorial may be directed to Gardens at St. Henry Activity Fund.
