Carol Dunlap–Reis, 70, of 09138 Burr Oak Road in Wapakoneta, died on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

She was born on March 4, 1943, in Celina, to Hubert Byron and Margaret Alice (Burd) Davenport.

Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Byers  of St. Marys, Theresa Dunlap  of Lima, a son, Ed Dunlap  of Wapakoneta, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a sister, Nina (Howard) Barnhart  of Cloverdale.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Margaret Davenport, a daughter, Karissa Dunlap, a son, Harold “Junior” Dunlap, brothers Jim Davenport and Leon Davenport and sisters Leona Ginter and Carolyn Davenport.

She was a homemaker. Before becoming disabled, she had worked as a production associate for CAPT in Celina.

She was a member of VFW auxiliaries in Wapakoneta and St. Marys.

Her favorite pastimes included reading, crocheting and swimming in her pool.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road Ohio 703 West Chapel in St. Marys.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
