Carl W. Rose, 82

Carl W. Rose, 82, of Celina, died on Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.

He was born on Feb. 26, 1930, in St. Henry, to the late Roman Rose and Marie Leistenschneider. On Oct. 29, 1955, in St. Anthony, he married Lucille M. "Lucy" Krieg.

He is survived by a son, Wayne (Melanie) Rose of St. Marys; two brothers, Joe (Donna) Rose of Coldwater and Fred (Irene) Rose of St. Henry; three sisters; three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

Carl was retired from the former Avco New Idea, Coldwater, and from farming. He was a 1948 graduate of St. Henry High School in St. Henry.

He was a member of the Men's Society of the church at St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery, St. Anthony.

Calling hours will be from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Monday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
