Carl Dennis Ransbottom, 73, of 1117 Kingswood Court, Celina, died at 3:27 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011, at the Gardens in Celina.

He was born on Nov. 26, 1937, in Celina, to Clifford M. and Kathlene E. (Chapman) Ransbottom, and they preceded him in death.

He is survived by his children, Lori Smith, David Ransbottom and Chris Ransbottom, all of Columbus, and Renee Ransbottom of Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister.

Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jeff Conrad officiating. Burial will follow in Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
